The tram in Luxembourg just had its first outing

Photo: Anouk Antony

The tram was rolled out for the first time on Wednesday morning and went down part of Avenue John F Kennedy in Kirchberg.

It was in the rain that this first official test took place, which allowed the tram to leave the 'Neien Tramschap' depot.

Two trams slowly drove from the Serra roundabout and went as far as the Coque sports centre.

The first tests at the speed the tram will travel will be carried out in November. The tram will then travel as it will aften installation but without passengers.
