It's 81m high and takes seven minutes to get to the top for a panoramic view over Luxembourg City.
The Skyliner opened its cabin doors on Wednesday morning and will be on Place de Constitution until August 6.
Up to 60 visitors can travel in the Skyliner at the same time and after reaching the top, the glass cabins give a 360° view.
Weighing more than 40 tonnes, it took 13 lorries to move the tower to the foot of the Gëlle Fra.
The Skyliner is open from 11am until 9pm Sunday to Thursday and from 11am until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Entry costs €7 for adults, €4 for children aged between four and 12 and is free for children under four years.
