Mother of Stéphanie de Lannoy passes away

(CS) Countess Alix de Lannoy, mother of Prince Guillaume's fiancée Stéphanie, passed away on Sunday after suffering a stroke.

Born Alix della Faille de Leverghem, the Countess had eight children with her husband Count Philippe. Stéphanie is the youngest with four older brothers and three older sisters.

Countess Alix was 70 years old, born on September 20, 1941.

The Luxembourg royal household has issued a statement, offering their deepest condolences to Count Philippe and his family, saying the family was in their thoughts and prayers.
