(JB) Luxembourg's Crown Princess Stéphanie has joined the board of governors for modern art museum MUDAM.

SAR Princess Stéphanie, who married Luxembourg's Prince Guillaume three years ago, will serve as president of the board, the museum confirmed in a press release on Friday.

The role adds to the 31-year-old's growing list of responsibilities, which include serving as member of the board of the “Fondation du Grand-Duc et de la Grande-Duchesse”, as well as being patron of “Les Amis des Musées d'Art et d'Histoire Luxembourg” and the Scienteens Lab, an initiative to promote young people to go into science.

She also attends a number of business and cultural events in her capacity as Hereditary Grand Duchess.

Princess Stéphanie will be supported on the committee by Philippe Dupont as vice president, Josée Hansen, Laurent Loschtter, Florence Reckinger, Danielle Wagener and Hubert Wurth.

The new committee was approved by Luxembourg's government on January 29.
