Blast from the past at first International Porsche Classic Meeting

Those who love all things Porsche were in heaven on Saturday as no less than 100 classic cars headed to the Grand Ducal Palace in Luxembourg City for the first ever International Porsche Classic Meeting hosted in the country.

Organised by Luxembourg's Porsche Club, the four-day event gathered proud Porsche owners from several countries, including Russia, Denmark and the United States and saw an eclectic mix of models produced between 1957 and 1997.

From Thursday to Sunday, local and international participants were on a mission to explore the Grand Duchy, driving throughout the country, from the Oesling region to the Moselle river banks.

According to organisers, this was the first meeting to mix the air-cooled Porsche legends 356, 914 and 911 with more modern models such as the 924, 944 and 928.
