Bargain hunting for a good cause at Red Cross Bazaar

The popular Red Cross Bazaar took place for the 71st time on Sunday in Luxembourg at the Victor Hugo Hall in Limpertsberg, and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa was in attendance.

The charity event, as every year, attracted many visitors, strolling along the isles in search of a bargain or gift as they stopped at the many stalls set up for the event.

More than 300 volunteers from local departments of the Red Cross together with numerous volunteers from other associations contribute to the bazaar's success every year.

The event is under the patronage of Her Royal Highness and President of the Luxembourg Red Cross Maria Teresa, who did not miss a visit in the afternoon to peruse the many stands.

The proceeds of the day will benefit the activities of the Youth Red Cross and the Emergency Fund of the International Assistance of the Luxembourg Red Cross.
