(MIZ/PC) Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, together with Vodafone Group, has launched the initiative called 'Tomorrow Street' at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona.

Back in December, Bettel and Luxembourg Economy Minister Étienne Schneider announced the creation of a Joint Innovation Centre in Luxembourg with Vodafone and Technoport.

'Tomorrow Street' seeks to give tech startups the opportunity to expand their international network via Vodafone.

Ninian Wilson, General Manager at Vodafone, said at the time: "The innovation centre creates a unique platform to help small companies go global. The environment in Luxembourg is ideally suited to supporting such activities in the ICT space."

Vodafone has been in Luxembourg for 15 years and employs around 300 people in the country.
