Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy is to become Luxembourgish the day she marries Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume thanks to a new law.

The bill was filed in the Chamber of Deputies by Justice Minister François Biltgen on Monday and is expected to be voted at the first parliamentary session in early October.

It states: “naturalisation will be granted to Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy,” the day she marries Prince Guillaume on October 20.
