Luxembourg's Crown Prince and his new wife got to grips with the work of emergency workers at Luxembourg's Air Rescue (LAR) during a special visit last week.

For LAR, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, the important year began well when Luxembourg's Prince Guillaume and Princess Stéphanie called in at the LAR headquarters at Findel airport.

The VIPs were given a tour of the facilities and an insight into the daily work of Luxembourg's fourth emergency service.

LAR works both in Luxembourg and abroad, providing a life-saving service 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Royal couple finished the visit by praising the LAR team's work and high quality of service.
