(CS) Luxembourg's police force was faced with several house break-ins across the country on Wednesday.

In Hellange, two people were seen breaking into a house. Police were called but by the time they reached the house, both suspects had fled. A search in the area led to no results.

One suspect is described as about 1,65 metres tall with short dark hair. He was dressed in black. The other culprit is described as a bit taller, also with short dark hair, wearing grey track suit bottoms and a black t-shirt.

In Schifflange, two break-ins were reported. At the one house, unknown culprits searched cupboards and drawers, stealing two laptops, a mobile phone and a portable games console.

At the other home, the unknown suspects stole a bronze statue of the Virgin Mary.

In Grevenmacher meanwhile, an unknown suspect broke into a house through a back window. Among other things, jewellery was stolen.
