(ADW) A man was threatened with a knife in Esch-sur-Alzette by three attackers early Monday morning while out walking his dog, and ordered to hand over his mobile phone.
The incident occurred at about 3am on Place des Remparts when the three perpetrators approached the man, drew out a knife and threatened to stab his dog if the phone was given to them.
When the man began to fight back, the three attackers hit him and snatched his mobile phone before fleeing in the direction of the train station.
Description of attackers:
All three men were described as about 25-30 years old, from 1.80 to 1.85 metres tall and slim. Two of them had black hair. One had dread-locked hair and a reggae-style hat and had a black beard.
If anyone witnessed the incident has information they are asked to immediately contact the police.
