(CS) Danish RadioShack Nissan Trek cyclist Jakob Fuglsang is set to receive his late wages, according to Danish media reports.
Together with cyclists Andy and Fränk Schleck as well as Fabian Cancellara, Fuglsang had filed a complaint with the International Cycling Union (UCI) earlier this year, saying that his wages had not been paid properly.
The company behind the team, Flavio Becca-owned Leopard SA has now come to an agreement with Fuglsang's lawyer, Danish sports news portal sporten.dk reports.
According to the site, Fuglsang was waiting on one million Danish kroner, around 134,390 euros. The report continues that not only cyclists but also other team members and external companies had been affected by the non-payment of wages.
Sporten.dk also claims that Fuglsang is set to quit RadioShack Nissan Trek at the end of the season in order to re-join Saxo Bank.
The news about the late payment of wages was only one of several scandals and rumours surrounding the team this season. Only last week, Enovos withdrew its sponsorship from the team.
