Luxembourg's Prince Felix and Princess Claire will participate in the 100th anniversary celebrations of a university in Japan in what is expected to be their first official trip since marrying.

On November 1 the newlyweds will travel to the University of Sophia, a Jesuit university where Luxembourg Archbishop Jean-Claude Hollerich worked for many years as professor and vice-rector.

Representing the Grand Ducal family, they will attend an anniversary mass at the Saint-Ignace church in Tokyo as well as an official ceremony.
