They're cute, their fluffy but you might want to think twice before cuddling them. Kali, Shouka and Sparrow, three newborns at Amnéville Zoo, a stone's throw from Luxembourg, are currently the star attraction and proof that the animals are thriving in their environment.
Kali and Shouka, two California sea lions, and Sparrow a Patagonian fur seal, were born at the beginning of July.
They come weeks after the arrival of new gorillas as well as two young snowy owls, six black kites, two turkey vultures and four dwarf Asian otters. Indeed, the zoo has seen scores of new births in the last months, with 32 new animals born there in May.
