(CS) A family in Christnach came home from their holiday to find that two men had occupied their house while they were away.

The suspects had broken into the house through the basement. They had searched cupboards throughout the house, but the owners found that they had also served themselves to food and drink from the kitchen, including several beers.

The owners must have surprised the suspects, as the television was still running in the living room.

A neighbour claims that she saw two men in the house the previous night, but had assumed that they were friends of the family.

The culprits stole, among other things, the keys to the house and the family's car.

While police immediately started a search in the area, they were unable to catch up with the two men.

Both men are described as white, between 1,70m and 1,75m tall and aged 25 to 30. One of the men had black frizzy hair wearing a blue t-shirt. The other suspects is said to have worn a grey t-shirt.
