Broken down HGV causes Luxembourg motorway tailbacks

A broken down lorry caused major tailbacks on the A13 motorway on Thursday afternoon.

The HGV broke down on the A13 towards Schengen between the Hellange roundabout and Frisange exit during the early afternoon.

Authorities closed a section of road as the beleaguered lorry had shed diesel on the road, leaving the surface slippery. Traffic was very slow moving, creating major tailbacks in both directions.
