Luxembourg's anti-doping body has decided not to appeal against Fränk Schleck's 12-month cycling ban.
The 32-year-old was issued the retro-active ban last month by a disciplinary committee commissioned by Luxembourg anti-doping agency ALAD.
The ban prevents Schleck from participating in competitive cycling events until July 14, 2013 after testing positive for a banned substance.
In a press release, ALAD said that the 21-day appeal period had passed and, in light of the decision made by the disciplinary council it would not launch an appeal.
It is not known if the International Cycling Union or the cyclist himself will appeal the decision.
