Raising awareness for people with disabilities

(CS) The City of Luxembourg is hosting a week of events to raise awareness for people with disabilities, following the success of last year's first edition of the initiative.

The awareness week will in fact last a lot longer than just one week, with events scheduled from May 2 to 19.

The campaign offers information for people with and without disabilities and special needs, in a bid to encourage exchange and better integration for a more respectful life together in the capital.

Events include special guided tours at Luxembourg's museums, as well as theatre performances and film screenings. Once again on the menu are a series of blind dinners, allowing diners to experience what it is like to eat when you cannot see.

Conferences, round table discussions and two special afternoon events, one dedicated to sports and the other to mobility, round off the programme.
