Grand Duke Henri traces historic links with Austria

Luxembourg's Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria-Teresa visited the national library in Vienna where they traced the historical ties between Luxembourg and Austria during the second day of their state visit.

On what was Grand Duke Henri's 58th birthday, the figurehead had little time for festivities as his schedule involved a number of economic meetings for the Luxembourg-Austria Economic Forum, held during the morning.

There, the couple attended discussions focusing on biotechnology, logistics, the food industry and tourism.

Later in the day, they visited the Austrian National Library where artifacts charting the history of the Nassau-Weillburg houses.
