(CS) Some 10,000 visitors flocked to Luxembourg's museums this weekend, taking advantage of the Invitation aux Musées with free entry to some 38 cultural venues across the country.
It was the 15th time that the “stater muséeën,” the association of the capital's museums, organised the three-day event. But since its conception many more museums across Luxembourg have joined the initiative, with a special events calendar ranging far beyond the City's museums.
Several new additions were on the bill this year, such as the mill museum in Asselborn, the Cité des sciences in Esch-Belval and the PostMusée in Luxembourg.
A special highlight awaited book fans, as many of the museums' shops hosted special sales over the weekend.
